Covid Vaccine Registration

We would like to invite patients aged 18-59 in Cohort 4a and Cohort 7 to register here for their COVID vaccine with us.

This is for patients of Kingsford Medical ONLY and all registrations are subject to screening by the doctors to confirm that they meet clinical criteria. See definitions for cohorts below.

Patients in these Cohorts will be offered an appointment for the Pfizer COVID vaccine here in the practice in the coming weeks (dates to be confirmed)

Cohort 4A : Very High Risk Patients (aged 18-59)

  • Diabetes where the patient has HbA1c > 58mmol/mol in last 12 months

  • Obesity* where patients have a BMI > 40
    * Patients identified from practice records as very obese (many people weighing more than 20 stone/120kg are likely to be very obese unless more than 5’9”/1.75m tall)

  • Chronic Respiratory Disease where patient is on home oxygen, pre or post transplantation or with a hospital admission related to disease in past year

  • Patients with Prader Willi syndrome

Cohort 7 : High Risk Patients (aged 18-59)

  • Cancer

  • Chronic Heart Disease

  • Chronic Kidney and Liver Disease

  • Chronic Neurological Disease

  • Diabetes

  • Immunocompromised due to Disease or Treatment

  • Inherited Metabolic Disorder

  • Obesity

  • Severe Mental Illness

  • Sickle Cell Disease
